Let’s wonder as we wander deep into the ferny woods

A group of fern leaves shrouded in pitch black darkness

Among this family of ferns, rests a
lonely effervescent teardrop, running down
sage green spires in turns, twisting up these tips
with motives that oust ivy heartthrobs— And
in this jail of ferns, I see bubbling brooks
feeding worms in the bogs, raging sunlight
enticing…
